DARIUS COLQUITT

DARIUS COLQUITT is an Award-Winning Entertainer, Educator, Writer & Entrepreneur originally from Chicago's Southside, Colquitt is no stranger to the Midwest Arts Scene, having premiered in over 100 productions with numerous entities. Previously, Colquitt wore the director’s hat for the JTGR production of “Olive & the Bitter Herbs”. Colquitt has had the esteemed honor of sharing spaces with some amazingly talented celebrities & personalities including Oprah Winfrey, the late Maya Angelou, Keith David, Taraji P. Henson and Country Icons, The Judds to name a few. Colquitt has served on the board of several Midwest Arts organizations while building & maintaining his personal artistic entity, Darius Colquitt & Company. Colquitt has also served as the lead vocalist for the Chicago-based band, "Wilson Wilson", was the most recent Artistic Director of PANORAMA Arts, has freelanced as a Teaching Artist for ACT (Artists Creating Together) & Ebony Road Players and currently works as the Producing Artistic Director of BAM (Black Art Matters) Talent. www.bamtalent.org
